How to transfer your TriPeak scores from one computer to another (this is for the original TriPeaks shipped in the WEP's only):
|
The TriPeak
scores are located in a file in your windows folder. The file name is
“entpack.ini”. The file location is normally c:\windows. Steps to
transfer your scores between computers (this may be hard or easy
depending on your computer savvy) 1.Copy
the file “entpack.ini” from c:\windows, that has your current
scores, onto a floppy disk. (use windows explorer) 2.
Copy the file “entpack.ini” from the floppy disk into the c:\windows
folder on your new computer. (use windows explorer) I
would keep the floppy as a back up, and if you have backup software, I
would backup the entpack.ini file. If the file
“entpack.ini” doesn’t exist, the information will be in the file
“win.ini”. In this scenario, you will have to cut-n-paste the [TriPeaks]
section into the new “win.ini”. If you look at
the “entpack.ini” file in wordpad, you will find you can change the
values here also. Perhaps you want to replace family member names in
your High Score Table. You can also change your score and other
statistics, but this is of course cheating, which, of course, most
religions forbid ;) |
